Party Hardy Dude!

So this past weekend I hosted my own little 30th birthday party.

My sister even made me a birthday cake. Which melted on the drive up from Austin, lol. It’s the thought that counts ;)

My veggie cups, another stolen idea from Pinterest.

We had decent weather. We had a good little turn out (even though all my poor guests were late because of stupid traffic). We had a ball watching all the kids run around in circles in the backyard. It was exactly what I wanted for my birthday.

And while we’re talking about awesome birthday stuff, looky looky at my awesome ‘Happy Birthday’ banner from one of my awesome sponsors, Samantha’s Cricut Creations!

SUPER cute! I got lot’s of compliments! I loved that it came assembled, and ready to hang. It even had nifty little loops on each end that easily hung over thumb tacks. The best part? I can use it for future birthdays as well!

Samantha is very generously giving away a $10 credit to her awesome Etsy store … click on the banner below to check her store out:

Psst … she’s also awesome with custom orders!

My best birthday party was probably the one I threw for my son’s 1st birthday. I never had a great birthday party myself but seeing everyone celebrating my little man on his big day was the best for me!

My favorite birthday was my 26th birthday. My husband worked super hard to throw me a surprise birthday (my 1st surprise birthday party ever!) He somehow managed to keep the surprise (hard for him to do) and it was wonderful.
